1. Who we are

"PHARM SCALE" d.o.o. ("PharmScale", "we", "our") is a manufacturer of food supplements and cosmetic creams headquartered in Srebrenik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As the data controller, we are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the BiH Personal Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679).

2. What data do we collect?

We only collect data necessary to provide our services and communicate with you:

  • Contact data: name, email address, phone number, location. Collected when you submit our contact form or reach out directly.
  • Communication content: the contents of your messages, emails or business conversations with us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, visit time and date (via standard server log files).
  • Cookies and local storage: your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage; analytics cookies are set only if you consent (see our Cookie Policy).

3. How do we use your data?

  • Responding to your inquiries and providing information about our services.
  • Handling orders, retail and distribution arrangements and other business activities.
  • Sending important notifications about orders, production and delivery.
  • Fulfilling legal obligations (accounting, regulatory permits).
  • Improving the functionality of our website.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of:

  • Your consent: when you submit a message or a batch request.
  • Performance of a contract: when fulfilling an order you placed with us.
  • Legal obligations: financial, tax and regulatory records.
  • Legitimate interest: site security, abuse prevention.

5. With whom do we share data?

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with:

  • Service providers: hosting, email and analytics providers, contractually bound to confidentiality.
  • Logistics partners: courier services for delivery of finished products.
  • Regulatory bodies: when required by law (e.g. competent ministries, FDA, TÜV audits).

Contact and batch-trace forms on this site are delivered via Web3Forms (Web3Forms LLC), which processes the submitted fields solely to forward them to us by email.

6. Data transfers outside BiH

Since we sell to customers and work with partners in the EU and the U.S., your data may be transferred outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, including to our U.S. affiliate Pharm Scale LLC where a request concerns a product sold in the United States. In such cases we ensure appropriate safeguards in line with GDPR (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions).

7. How long do we keep your data?

  • Contact inquiries, up to 24 months from last communication.
  • Business documents (orders, contracts, invoices), at least 11 years (BiH Accounting Act).
  • Technical log files, up to 12 months.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR and BiH legislation, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: find out what data we hold about you.
  • Right of rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right of erasure ("right to be forgotten"), request deletion of your data.
  • Right to restrict processing.
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured format.
  • Right to object to processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the BiH Personal Data Protection Agency.

8a. Residents of the United States

If you live in California or another U.S. state with comprehensive privacy legislation, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request a copy of it, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website. The categories we collect are listed in section 2 above; the purposes are in section 3.

To make a request, email info@pharmscale.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may ask for information to verify that the request is yours. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

8b. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data security

We implement technical and organizational safeguards, encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access control, regular backups and staff training, to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

10. Policy changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The last revision date is shown at the top of the document. Material changes will be communicated via this page.
